Polychrome Jasper, also known as Desert Jasper, is a colorful variety of Jasper discovered in Madagascar. It’s loved for its earthy patterns and bold, natural color combinations created by layers of iron-rich minerals in the stone.

This piece—brown and orange Polychrome Jasper—comes from the warmer end of the spectrum. These tones form when iron oxides settle into the stone during its formation, creating soft waves, patches, and blended color zones that look like desert landscapes or warm sunset earth tones.
